Yvette is a Partner with CIEL Capital and Chief Financial Officer for the CIEL group of companies. In her role with CIEL, Yvette oversees financial reporting, strategic planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, as well as investor relations across the portfolio. She also works with newly acquired companies on finance and accounting best practices and processes, as they are onboarded into the portfolio. Yvette joined CIEL in 2014.

Yvette built her career in progressive roles in Accounting and Finance, across various sectors – telecommunications, mining, health care, and investment banking. As she progressed into new roles and responsibilities, she focused on cost reduction, process and system improvement, as well as high level analysis and problem solving. Yvette brings enthusiasm, integrity, and a desire for personal and process improvement, as she works with her team to grow the businesses and portfolio.

Yvette attended Wilfrid Laurier University, where she played intramural soccer, volunteered with Laurier Students for Literacy, and earned an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree. She spends as much time as she can enjoying the outdoors, travelling, and cycling.
